Did he say “Arse Master Green Thumb”?

  • brian8793:

Why does he say you need Pete to grow good tomatoes. I know Pete, and he won’t help your garden one bit……..

  • brian8793:

If your not growing organic tomatoes, you should be tarred, Joseph Smith style…….

  • RivenrockGardens:

Pretty much any organic material is good… you can pull a little mulch up and place trimmings and such under it…. they will rot in as the worms feast on them.

The idea with organics is to ‘feed the soil, not the plants’.

In time your soil will get richer and better. Tilth, fertility, drainage, all will be improved.

You can save costs by getting your manure from a local stable, and composting it at home. To start off you need a lot…so do it right and cheaply with bulk loads.

would you also put the remains of tea grains in the garden as well?

    just sprinkle it around?
and how much is too much?
